Position Overview:
Hilton Daytona Beach is seeking a skilled and reliable Second Shift Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will work the 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM shift and be responsible for maintaining the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems of the hotel to ensure a safe, comfortable, and efficient environment for our guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine mechanical maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment and systems.
- Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
- Handle basic plumbing tasks including repairs and maintenance.
- Perform painting and drywall repairs to maintain the appearance and integrity of hotel facilities.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies during the second shift.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any major issues to management.
Qualifications:
- Proven mechanical experience in a similar role.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and repairs.
- Basic plumbing skills and experience.
- Experience with painting and drywall repairs.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during the second shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
Work Schedule:
Second Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM.
